The Application Site And Proposed Development
The application site comprises the curtilage of a detached dwelling located on Ballagorry Drive in Glen Mona, Maughold.
The proposed development comprises alterations and extensions to the dwelling and the erection of a garage with patio above.
Planning History
There are no previous planning applications that are considered to be material to the assessment of this current planning application.
Representations
Maughold Parish Commissioners recommend that the planning application be approved. The Department of Transport Drainage Division do not oppose the planning application. The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service recommend the installation of smoke detectors.
Planning Policy
The application site is located within a wider area of land that is designated as predominately residential use under the 1982 Development Plan Order.
