Site
The site represents the curtilage of 3 Water Street, Ramsey, which is a two storey attached property, located on the southern side of Water Street.
Land Use Zoning
The site has been zoned under the Ramsey Local Plan as being within an area of “Mixed Use”; the site is also within a Conservation Area.
Planning History
There are no previous planning applications which are considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application.
Proposal
The application proposes the construction of a canopy over entrance apartment. The canopy would have a projection of 0.9 metres from the front elevation of the building.

We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / recommendation
The proposal is a very minor proposal, which will improve the appearance of the existing property and therefore be beneficial to the Conservation Area. For these reasons the proposal would be appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
