Stables And Land Opposite Vicarage And Adjacent To, Main Road, Ballabeg, Castletown, Isle Of Man, IM9 4ee
This application sought permission to convert existing stables at land opposite the Vicarage, adjacent to the Main Road in Ballabeg, Castletown, into a clergy house. The proposal also included the creation of a new access and driveway to serve the converted building. The site was noted to have a number of outbuildings adjoining and in the corner of the plot, with allotments and fruit and vegetable plots to the north east. Access to the site runs immediately alongside both sides of the building. The Planning Committee granted permission in March 2008, in line with the officer's recommendation to approve. The decision was subject to six conditions.
