In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 24th December 2007, for the reasons set out below.

Reason(S) For Refusal:
- Whilst it is noted that the Inspector reporting on the previous application for PA 02/2007 comments that he saw no reason for the proposed dwellings to be single storey, in this case, the proposed dwelling would be as close as 7.4m from the boundary with numbers 6, 8 and 10, Faaie Craine and being two storey would be considerably taller than the bungalows to the rear. The development would therefore be unduly dominant in respect of the rear private space of 6, 8 and 10, Faaie Craine.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.

- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
