In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 25th January 2008, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to drawing 01, 02, 03, 05 and 06 date stamped the 19th October 2007.
- Prior to the commencement of development a detailed scheme showing a pedestrian link between the application site and the existing bus stop outside the main hospital building must be submitted to and agreed by the Planning Authority. Thereafter the agreed scheme must be implemented prior to the public use of the proposed development.
- There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
NOTE The applicant is recommended to contact the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service to discuss the provision of appropriate fire precaution measures.
NOTE The applicant/developer is recommended to contact the Isle of Man Water Authority to discuss the provision or change of any water supply.
NOTE The applicant/developer is recommended to contact the Manx Electricity Authority to discuss the provision or change of any electrical supply.
NOTE The Planning Committee expressed concern as to the apparent lack of surveillance of the public areas, and location of the reception area in relation to the waiting area and possible lack of privacy for patients and would hope that these matters are addressed by the Practice Manager.
NOTE The Planning Committee, mindful of the location of existing bus stops some distance from the new surgery, encourage the DHSS to liaise with the Department of Tourism and Leisure to provide an additional bus stop within the vicinity of building.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Guidance Note
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;

- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
