This reserved matters application sought approval for the conversion of an existing stone barn, located to the south of Ballagarraghyn Mansion House on the Main Road in Greeba, into a single residential dwelling. A small area to the east of the barn was proposed to serve as parking and amenity space. The application was considered by the Planning Committee, which approved it on 16 May 2008. The case officer had also recommended approval. Permission was granted subject to five conditions.

Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This permission relates to the conversion of the barn into a dwelling as shown in drawingsPA1A and PA2B both received on 28th March, 2008 and drawings S1, PA4, PA3 and the location plan all received on 19th October, 2007.
Condition 3
All rooflights must be Conservation type as indicated in the submitted drawings.
Condition 4
Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2005 (or any Order revoking or re-enacting that Order) no extensions, greenhouses, walls, gates, fences, garden sheds, summerhouses, flag poles, decking, garages, or tanks for the storage of oil for domestic heating shall be erected (other than those expressly authorised by this approval.)
Condition 5
The proposed extensions must be finished to match the main building - that is, if the existing building is stone finished and white-washed, so should be the extensions and not simply rendered and painted.
