Provision for parking of vehicles related to the film industry, part of farm grounds, Gretch Voar, Laxey. which was considered at a meeting held on the 18 March 1998, for the reasons set out on the attached schedule, numbered 1 to 2. Date of Issue: 27 March 1998

REASONS FOR REFUSAL Application No. 97/1837
- Whilst access to the site is physically possible and visibility at the junction of the lane and Ballaragh Road is of an acceptable standard, the width and quality of the lane leading to the site is considered unsuitable for the traffic and type of vehicles which would be generated by the proposed use.
- The use of the lane by such vehicles is likely to create a nuisance and inconvenience to other users of the lane.
NOTE: This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
