In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby REFUSE the application by you for erection of an agricultural building, Field 314583, part of Ballaneven Farm, Poortown Road, St. John’s, German, for the following reasons:-
- The evidence of agricultural need is insufficient to outweigh the general policy of the Strategic Plan against development in the countryside.
- The proposed development would be unsympathetic to the landscape, and would thus conflict with Environment Policy 15 of the Strategic Plan.
