Officer's Report
Planning approval is sought to change the use of Unit 5, Spring Valley Industrial Estate from a warehouse to workshop and showroom, for bedroom and kitchen furniture. No external alterations are proposed.
There are a number of such units within Spring Valley Industrial estate and it is not considered that such a use would adversely impact on the adjacent uses, given that there are already a number of units in use as such within close proximity.
Braddan Commissioners advise that they approve the application and the Isle of Man Water Authority and Chief Fire Officer suggest standard Notes as does the Disability Access Officer. No comments have been received from the Department of Transport Highways Division.
It is considered that the following parties, who submitted comments, accord with the requirements of Planning Circular 1/06 and are therefore, afforded interested party status:
Braddan Parish Commissioners
Accordingly the following parties are not granted Interested Party Status:
Chief Fire Officer Isle of Man Water Authority Disability Access Officer
