Permission was granted to improve an existing field access at Field 424857 on Main Road, Colby, in the Parish of Arbory. The improved access was intended to serve as the site entrance to a temporary storage compound. The site is a field on the southern side of the A7 between Colby and Ballabeg, stretching south to the steam railway line. The application was decided by the Director of Planning and Building Control under delegated authority on 4 May 2007. The officer recommended approval and the decision was granted with two conditions.

Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This permission relates to the alterations and improvements to the access as shown in drawings reference CAR/CA7/001/A, CAR/CA7/001/B and the photographs all received on 5th February, 2007. The gate pillar and alterations to the wall must be re-instated once the water main improvement works are complete and the compound is no longer used by the Isle of Man Water Authority.
