Ms J Callow Secretary to the Planning Committee Office of Planning Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas.
27th March 2007. Dear Ms Callow, Rushen Parish Commissioners have considered the following planning applications and their views are:-
a) 07/0324. Rose Cottage, Cronk-e-Dhooney, Ballakilpheric. Mr D A Kelly. (retrospective) Change of Use. Car repairs on existing hard standing; hours 9-4, average 40-50 per year. No objections.
b) 07/0348. Ballakilley Farm, Church Road. Mr & Mrs Jamieson. Alterations to existing field entrances. No objections.
c) 07/0359. Scholaby Mill, Hintock Ltd. In Principle. Conversion of mill into dwelling. The Commissioners approve of these old buildings being preserved by being sensitively renovated and put to use. They query the access to this property as it is not clear from the plans whether it would be from the Scholaby Farm lane or from Ballakilpheric Road.
d) 07/0360. Ballavayre Cottage, Scholaby. Hintock Ltd. In Principle. Proposed re-instatement of residence and extension of track from Scholaby Mill to cottage. No objections but query which access would be used (see above).
e) 07/0380. Robin Hill Farm, Cronk-e-Dhooney, Ballakilpheric. (retrospective) Mr & Mrs P Cripps. Refurbishment of existing outbuildings; new timber front with 3 stable and 1 double doors; rendering of walls and stone cappings fitted; old pallet front removed at start of refurbishment. Building to be used as farm workshop and store. No objections.
f) 07/0426. Thalloo Reagh, Cregneash. Mr & Mrs W H Dawson. Replace original sash windows with wooden framed double glazed units – the frames will replicate exactly the existing frames. No objections.
g) 07/0439. Building 3 Strandhall Farm outbuildings, Shore Road. Hintock Ltd. Amend installation of double doors to windows – east elevation. No objections.
h) 07/0298. Glendown Farm, Truggan Road. Glendown Farm Ltd. Erection of an Agricultural Building. No objections.
i) 07/0489. West View, Surby Road, Surby. Mr K McArd. Erection of replacement single storey extension to replace existing and installation of replacement windows and doors. No objections.
Yours sincerely,
Gillian Kelly (Mrs) Clerk
