In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: E B Holdings Ltd Proposal: Erection of an industrial storage building sub-divided into six units at: Proposed Unit 7 White Hoe Industrial Estate Old Castletown Road Douglas
which was considered on 20th December 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Furthermore, additional tree planting must take place in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the building in the following area: (a) land between the building and the building and north-eastern boundary of the application site; and (b) land between the building/hardstanding and the existing tree planting adjacent to the south-eastern boundary of the application site.
NOTE The applicant is advised that a petrol interceptor for the car park drainage will be required so as to comply with the requirements of the Douglas Corporation Drainage Department.
It should be noted that it is an offence under Manx legislation to permit the discharge of polluting or harmful matter to any public sewers or watercourses. Appropriate measures must be taken by the developer/occupier of the premises to ensure compliance with the legislation.
NOTE For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, telephone 695949.
NOTE The applicant is advised to consult with the Fire Safety Department regarding the fire safety measures for the development.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
