July 2014 Site Visit Note
Site visit Lhergyhdhoo PA 10/01555/C 31st July 2014 S Gray, E Craine
The site was secured with a metal gate.
All portable cabins, weigh bridge, wheel wash and equipment removed off site. Only one piece of plant remaining on site and this is used to spread and level material.
Former access road and utilities area is now filled and graded to adjacent fill levels and to circa 1.5 m below hedge but this varies. There are a few stockpiles of manure at the top end of the unrestored section.
Unrestored area to be covered with more manure, 200mm topsoil and then seeded to restore suitable for agricultural use.
The levels were graded and appeared to be in keeping with the profile of the approved plans although without a full site survey it is not possible to confirm absolutely. There is one infilled area where the infill has created a steep edge (northern boundary by the gully). This is to be graded to soften the edge and ensure stability.
Restoration is progressing in accordance with the e-mail agreement 7 March 2014. Site visit to be arranged once the restoration is completed after 30th September 2014.
