In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 12 May 2005, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

these works shall be carried out as approved. These details shall include a schedule of planting (noting plant species, size and density) and hard surfacing materials.
NOTE The applicant/developer is advised to consult with the Department of Transport Highways Division prior to the submission of any drawing(s) relating to condition no. 3.
NOTE The applicant/developer is advised that on completion the apartments must comply with requirements of the Housing (Flats) Regulations 1982 and be registered thereafter under the same regulations.
NOTE The applicant/developer is advised that the development falls within the scope of the Fire Precautions (Flats) Regulations 1996 and is recommended to contact the Fire Safety Department in this regard.
NOTE The applicant/developer is advised that for connections to flats and apartments the following apply - "Water Supply to Flats and Apartments - Regulations" and if applicable a "Form of Undertaking in Respect of Supply Pipes" will be required. Copies of these documents can be obtained from the Isle of Man Water Authority or alternatively by contacting the Isle of Man Water Authority Byelaws Inspector (Les Quayle), tel. 01624 695957.
NOTE The Planning Committee wishes to expresses its hope that discussions with the Department of Transport regarding improvements to the junction of Jurby Road and Bowring Road continue and that any such improvements can be satisfactorily achieved.
This review has been considered by the Planning Committee on written evidence. Any additional submissions not previously circulated to interested parties are enclosed herewith.
