Ballacallin, Lane From Dalby Road To Ballacallin, Dalby, Isle Of Man, IM5 3bt
Permission was granted for the conversion of a redundant stone barn at Ballacallin, Dalby, into a private dwelling with garage. The application was a resubmission of an earlier scheme and was decided by committee in February 2007. Several amendments were incorporated compared to the previous submission. These included replacing an approved large glazed window in the mono pitch roof with a patio area and guard rails, increasing the height and width of the garage extension to provide first-floor storage, adding two rooflights, and introducing an additional patio door on the south elevation. The site is described as an existing redundant stone barn on the western, seaward side of the A27 coastal road between Glen Maye and Dalby.
