Walls: solid 200mm brickwork (ballacery or similar) rising penetrating damp evident in all rooms. no lead flashings to chimney stack, chimney breast in Bed/Sit & Kit/Gallery damp.
Floors: concrete generally with original quarry tiles to floors of Kit/Gallery & Porch. Damp evident in concrete-floors (no damp), quarry tile floors very uneven, loose tiles evident & damp (no damp).
Ceiling: painted on boarding in Bed/Sit & Kit/Gallery, damp shaking evident in several areas where boarding cabins external walls.
Roots: Wash blue slate to main roof, sort of cracked & broken slates both front & rear, cement ridge in lieu of ridge tiles, corrugated "perspex" roof to porch, corrugated iron to tear to roof over store, big gutters to main roof.
Doors & windows: original vertical path windows to Bed/Sit & Kit/Gallery as badly affected by wet rot, oils missing etc., bases of glass missing, timber windows in store area & porch. Sats badly affected by wet rot & also require replacement. Front door & frame affected by wet rot. Weaverm & wet rot in cam over opening between Bed/Sit & Kit/Gallery. No access to roof structure for inspection.
