Officer's Report
This application seeks approval to demolish a small kitchen extension to the rear of No. 4 Charles Street, Peel, and replace it with a single storey flat roof extension with lantern roof.
The property is located within the Peel Conservation Area, with the rear of the property not being readily visible. The application would include the provision of a upvc door and window, which would not impact on the integrity of the Conservation Area, given its location, nor, it is considered impact adversely on occupiers of adjoining property. It is proposed to construct an identical extension to the rear of No. 2 Charles Street which forms the subject of a separate application.
The proposal is considered to be acceptable.
