14 August 2006 · Committee
Inisfree, Lheaney Road, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM8 2jf
Permission was granted for the erection of a conservatory at Port E Chee, a residential property on the northern side of Lheaney Road in Ramsey, Isle of Man. The site lies within a predominantly residential area. The Planning Committee considered two main issues: the effect of the conservatory on the visual amenities of Lheaney Road, and any impact on the neighbouring property known as Bengairn to the east. The application was approved subject to three conditions. The decision was made by the Planning Committee and signed off by the Secretary of the Planning Committee, with Mr Ian Brooks acting as case officer.
The Planning Committee approved the application on 14 August 2006. The key planning considerations were the impact on the visual amenities of Lheaney Road and the effect on the neighbouring property Bengairn. The proposal was found acceptable in both respects.
