Objection
The movement of slow moving vehicles from this access and the steep gradient of the A5 in the vicinity of the site will create traffic congestion and potential highway conflict with existing high speed traffic. The relocation of these vehicles onto the old A6 represents a better location for this facility.

Ballakaighen Farm, White Bridge Road, Onchan
Objection
This development represents a further expansion of the leisure facilities offered at this site and a transport assessment is required to determine the parking provision and the type of junction with the A2.
The visibility splays are shown as 4.5 metres by 295 metres. This visibility splay does not exist adjacent to the public highway which is obscured by boundary vegetation/features and advertising materials.
