22 May 2006 · Delegated
Primrose Lodge, Athol Park, Port Erin, Isle Of Man, IM9 6es
This application sought permission to add a single-storey kitchen extension to the south side of Primrose Lodge, a residential property on the western side of Athol Park in Port Erin. It also proposed demolishing the existing garage and replacing it with a detached garage served by a new vehicular entrance. The site falls within a predominantly residential area as defined by the Port Erin Local Plan. The officer noted that the property sits on the corner of Athol Park and Sunnydale Avenue, and that sycamore trees on the site, while attractive, had already been heavily pruned and were considered to be uncomfortably close to nearby dwellings. The application was approved by delegated authority on 22 May 2006, subject to two conditions.
