Please find below the Commissioners decisions in relation to planning applications considered by them at their meeting on the 24th January 2006.
PA06 00038 – Dr Nigel Hopkinson - Renscault Farm, East Baldwin - Erection of agricultural barn to replace existing
The Commissioners would recommend approval of the above application.
PA06 00059 – Mona Development Co. Ltd - Ballachrink, Quines Hill, Port Soderick - Installation of uPVC casement windows to replace existing timber windows
The Commissioners would recommend approval of the above application.
PA06 000001 – Mr and Mrs J Motley -Reduce width of sun lounge to add windows to gable and to remove chimney breast fireplace - Fuchsia Cottage, Old Castletown Road
The Commissioners would recommend approval of the above application.
PA06 00008 – Dr and Mrs D H K Chambers - Upper Ballachrink, Richmond Hill - Approval in principle to demolish existing outbuildings and erect a two storey building as ancillary accommodation to existing dwelling
The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that whilst accepting the proposed development could be defined as being contrary to existing planning policy, the Commissioners were satisfied that there would be no detrimental impacts occurring as a result of the proposed development in particular as the proposed development was replacing an existing building which had become derelict.
The Commissioners would recommend therefore recommend approval of the application in principle but would request a condition be included that required the proposed dwelling to be constructed in accordance with Planning Circular 3/91 policies 2-8 inclusive – Guide to the Design of Residential Development in the Countryside and that the proposed development must be ancillary to the existing development.
PA06 00010 – Kirby Farms Ltd - Kirby Farm, Vicarage Road - Construction of an MEA substation and switch room
The Commissioners would recommend approval of the above application.
PA06 00029 - Mr and Mrs E D Craine - Thie Awin, Cronkbourne - Erection of a kitchen extension and alterations of existing flat roof over garage to create a balcony
