In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Braddan Parish Commissioners Proposal: Extension to existing car parking area and creation of new access, to provide a public car park, with alteration works to neighbours wall to afford improved visibility at: Central Stores Main Road Union Mills Isle Of Man IM4 4AD
which was considered on 15 May 2006, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to drawing no.s 01, 02 and 03 date stamped the 17th January 2006.
- Prior to the setting out of the car park the visibility splays and sight lines must be set in accordance with drawing no.s 01 and 03 date stamped the 17th January 2006. This work must include the alteration of the wall at the front of the neighbouring property, known as Skyrllyn, to a height not exceeding 800mm. These arrangements must be maintained as such thereafter.
NOTE There must be NO discharge of surface water (including that from roofs and paved areas) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s) so as to comply with the requirements of the Department of Transport Drainage Division and the Sewerage Act 1999.
The applicant is to supply the Drainage Division with a plan showing the surface water disposal route before commencing on site.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

You should note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision being made, along with any correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
