In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr & Mrs B R Cleator Proposal: Erection of an agricultural building at: Ballamenagh Beg Jurby Road Sandygate Ramsey Isle Of Man IM7 3AG
which was considered on 8 February 2006, for the reasons set out below.

Reasons For Refusal:
- The proposed development would be contrary to Policy ENP2 of the emerging Strategic Plan in that the site is crossed by 11KV overhead, high-voltage electricity cables and therefore the site is safeguarded from development. Furthermore, the overhead, high-voltage electricity cables crossing the site would need diversion; this may itself require planning permission.
- This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005
