Officer's Report
The application proposes the removal of existing defective concrete pavement and laying of paving along Loch Prom which runs along the outside of Royal Bank House.
As can be seen from the photos provided by the applicant the present pavement is not attractive and has a very irregular boundary line. The proposal is to relay the paved area with the replacement paving to match the existing concrete set paving along Victoria Street (see photos - Plate 6) and to straighten the boundary line.
The Douglas Corporation have considered the application and have no objection. The Department of Transport have no objection. We have received no private representations for this application.
The proposals would seem appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
