Officer's Report

The site represents the curtilage of an existing large house situated to the north of Cronk y Thatcher in Colby.

Planning permission was granted under PA 01/1475 for alterations and extensions. Now proposed is a very similar extension but omitting the large observatory on one side. This omission makes the proposal more balanced and less eye-catching.

There are no objections on visual grounds, the only objection coming from CFO who is concerned regarding internal means of escape as he was in the previous application.
