Officer's Report

"Acrefair" is a detached property situated on the southern side of the Eairy Dam, at the junction of the Tosaby Road (B26) and the A24 to Foxdale.

The site falls within an area of "white" land on the 1982 Order.

Previously, permission was granted for polytunnels and greenhouses (PA 99/1787 and 01/0986).

Now proposed is the utilisation of the lower ground level space within the dwelling and the installation of a window therein in the front elevation, in place of a door and a new door and steps, a new door and windows in the side elevation and two windows on the rear elevation. None of this adversely affects the appearance of the property, nor is the proposal unacceptable.
