Permission was granted for the siting of a rock crusher and separator within Cringle Quarry, Ronague, Castletown. The quarry adjoins the west side of Ronague Road, approximately three-quarters of a kilometre south of The Round Table, opposite a plantation. The Planning Committee approved the application on 27 May 2005. The officer's report identified that the site boundaries were not precisely defined but could be taken as comprising Cringle Quarry, and concluded that operating the machine at this location would not adversely affect anyone.
