Located as it is in the Portuguese Road conservation area, consideration must be given to the impact of the increase in the requirement for parking, an issue clearly not attended to within this application. Whilst I have not immediate concerns with the principle of conversion of a guesthouse to apartments, I do have concerns at the potential increase in on road parking, clearly detrimental to the conservation area.
