The site represents the curtilage of an existing dwelling within Manor Park - a developing cul de sac of large, detached houses. Those on the northern side are mainly two storey with those on the lower, southern side are split level to minimise their impact on the bungalows in Howe Road.
Proposed here is the creation of a brick porch beneath an existing balcony. This is acceptable in visual terms and does not extend the property.
