Officer’s Report
The site lies on the western side of the Ballamodha Straight and represents the curtilage of Clougher House which sits in a large area within which there is an outbuilding which is to be re-built.
The footprint of the new building is the same as that of the existing which has stone walls and a roof made of tiles and slates. This was used for the storage of implements.
The new building will have stone walls and a slated roof. Work had commenced but the applicant was advised that planning permission was required and it has ceased. The building works will only improve the appearance of the building and the site.
