The oil relates to Crank Moar, Palby. It is a cluster of buildings set back from NE A27. 2. AIP is sought to convert NE outbuildings to tawot accommodation. 3. There are 2 buildings: a. A spud house - which would be converted to a single unit. b. Main barn - which would be converted to 2 units. 4. The buildings are substantially intact confirmed by recent photographs and site visit 2-3 years ago. 5. A structural report has been submitted It is proposed to use traditional -signed materials -line marker, slate etc. Date Des. + Grading Commission - Support. NE lane, + parking, drainage. Ownership of NE lane has been painted out. Highways - no objection In terms of the spud have it will be necessary to raise the leaves by 600mm. (2 ft.) This will allow an extra floor to be inserted to create 2 floors. Window openings will be reopened + root lights used. The barn :- The one a number of vertical cradles but it is suggested that these can be old-bulised. Movement has been identified in one section on the front elevation. This can be solved by tying it into the structure. It is judged that the buildings are worthy of reuse. I would recommend that a method statement be submitted with the reserved matters application to show how it is to be supported. No extensions should be permitted. DB: 21-1-05
