The site lies on the western side of the B42 Ronague Road and represents a large area in which there is a cottage. Previous applications include alterations of windows, erection of porch and the erection of a replacement dwelling - all approved (PAs 99/1363, 00/1010 and 02/1290).
Proposed now is the erection of a timber shed in the area to the south of the dwelling. This is a little distance from the dwelling. Defer for site visit.
I drove past the site from the north and was unable to clearly see the site due to the hawthorn hedging between the site and the road. As such there is unlikely to be any adverse impact as viewed from here or from the south.
