Maughold Commissioners had their meeting this evening and the following decisions were made:-

PA04/1869 Ballacreggan Farm, erection of 4 log cabins for holiday chalets - More detailed information is needed before Commissioners can comment re infrastructure, sewage etc. The application also Mentions about a granny flat - no information enclosed.

PA04/1878 Kerrowdhoon, replacement dwelling - All the houses in the Dhoon Glen area are of older design 1900's or before. Although some are been modernized they retain a traditional exterior. We feel the use of the proposed property, in an area of high scenic value and cost. Significance and is totally out of keeping and would set a precedent within the Dhoon Glen. Incidentally, Thalloo Ree and Klonehenien are not in close proximity, being in Dhoon Quarry area, and in Klonehenin Glen.
