Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for the removal of a chimney stack from a terraced dwelling in Ramsey.

The majority of the chimney stacks along the terrace have already had their chimney stacks removed. Due to the narrowness of the terrace the roofs are not readily visible and I consider that the impact of removing chimney stacks in this location is limited. Accordingly, I recommend that the application be approved.
