Condition 4 of approval states "Any built development must respect the existing form and rhythm of the adjacent properties of belmont terrace". * Issue over Red Line crossing through car parking giving difficulties in granting any approval. ### Questions - Difficult to assess against belmont terrace from current drawings. - All appears too big in terms of footprint and height. - Drawings do not aid visualisation of materials and finishes. - Merit of design considered low. - Lack of landscaping around car parking. - Lack of amenity space. - Lacking accurate tree survey and assessment of impact on trees. - Does not respect existing belmont terrace. --- Meeting 13/9/04 15:00 Anthony Hughes Terranee Devin Applicant Drummond - All set out the concerns as detailed above. - To showed revised footprint that reduced scale of building. - To to consult with all regarding design. - Tree survey to be undertaken. - Red line issue to be resolved. - All advised that whilst willing to work on the scheme the level and scale of development may still cause concern.
