Whilst 3 polling spaces would be provided. No other external space would be provided. Dorme accommodation would be out of keeping with the rest of the dwellings in Arald Road and Stanley Mount. It is argued that the building would be of a size similar to that which stood on the site prior to 1937. The mass of the building as proposed would however be out of keeping with the character & appearance of the area. The near yard areas (windows of some properties (namely no. 5) or Stanley Road would be overlooked. The applicant was advised to consider a scheme which included the garages next door. There is no evidence to suggest this ophen has been looked in to.
