Land On Sky Hill Comprising Of Fields 132161-134439 & 134442, Lezayre Church Road, Churchtown, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM7 2an
Permission was granted for the erection of a two-storey general purpose storage building at Fields 2166 and 2205, Sky Hill, Lezayre Road, Ramsey. The new building was proposed as a replacement for an existing structure on the same site. The main planning question considered was whether the proposed building would be visually detrimental to the area. The officer report noted that the existing building being replaced was described as somewhat ramshackle, and that the site's position set into the hillside was a relevant factor in assessing the proposal's visual impact. The application was decided by the Planning Committee, which approved it. Four conditions were attached to the permission.
