Officer's Report
It is proposed to construct a stable and tackroom, on land adjacent to Ballavarkish Beg, a detached dwelling that is currently the subject of an application to remove the agricultural occupancy tie.
The building would provide two stables and tack room, and be of timber construction with felt roof. The Commissioners have advised that they wish to see the building sited adjacent to the dwelling, however, it is considered that the site is sufficiently close to the dwelling to avoid any adverse impact on the landscape. Notwithstanding the concerns of the Commissioners, the proposal is considered to be acceptable within the landscape.
