Proposal: at: (b) Installation of doors to replace existing Port-E-Candiss Ballacraine St. Johns Douglas IM4 3NF which was considered on 20 February 2004, for the reasons set out in the attached schedule.

- The replacement doors, by reason of the material and design are judged to be out of keeping with the character and appearance of the dwelling.
NOTE The applicant is recommended to consider the installation of traditional panelled doors which may, if desired, be partly glazed. Traditional style doors are available in a number of different materials and colours and the applicant is encouraged to discuss this matter further with the Conservation Section.
NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
