Reasons For Refusal

• Application Ref No: 03/01709/A

1. The application site is not zoned for residential development and is therefore contrary to the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982 and the well established policies of the Department.
2. The limitations of the site frontage onto the highway and the width available for the access to and from the highway are inadequate to permit safe access and egress for the proposed development.
3. This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
