The application sought amendments to a previously approved extension (02/01988B) at Ballig Farm, a small agricultural holding between West Baldwin Road and Baldwin Run. Changes included alterations to the scheme, making the extension bound the garage slightly larger, and adding a small balcony on the rear inner. The Director of Planning approved the application under delegated powers. Prior permissions existed for alterations, extensions (BA 021 1988), and an agricultural building. None of the changes adversely affected neighbours, and much would not be visible to the public.
The application was approved as the alterations did not adversely affect neighbours. Much of the development would not be seen by the public. The decision was made by the Director of Planning under delegated powers. The formal decision record lists 4 conditions.
Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the alterations and extensions as shown in drawings reference $02 / \mathrm{BF}-07,02 / \mathrm{BF}-09,02 / \mathrm{BF}-10,02 / \mathrm{BF}-11,02 / \mathrm{B}-12$ all received on 15 th October 2003.
Condition 3
The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
Condition 4
Prior to the commencement of any works on site the existing tree immediately in front of the proposed conservatory must be adversely protected by stout wooden fencing, against damage during and after the course of construction.
