Re: Planning Application 03/1530 - Mr Kevin Bott Croit Ny Kiyt Crossag Road, Ballasalla. Installation of coated aluminium windows to replace existing to front elevation. The Commissioners thank you for your application form, Site Plan, photograph and Brochure, which they discussed at their Statutory Meeting held on Wednesday 12 November, 2003.
The Commissioners would like to inform you that they object to this Planning Application. They wish to comment that Planning Application 03/00242, The Cottage, Crossag Road, Ballasalla, was refused on review, on the grounds that 'The replacement windows would detract from the appearance of the dwelling within the Silverdale Conservation Area and be contrary to the provisions of Planning Circular 1/98 - The Alterations and Replacement of Windows'.
