Application No: 30733 ### Planning Report and Recommendations #### General Report Site Visited: YES/NO The proposal is for the conversion of a motorboat authority at Bellacrossa Farm in Brida with building facilities accommodation. Bellacrossa Farm and the application site is located north of the A12 coast road close to the coast. It is understood that the water extinguishing except the northwest (seawall) elevation is structurally capable of conversion. Accordingly, it is proposed that the northwestern elevation is to be taken down and rebuilt. The rest of the conversion will utilize existing openings but also include the injection of some former windows on the southwest and northwest elevations. Bellacrossa Farm is not within from the A12 coast road and cannot be readily seen in the wider area. Planning Circular 3/89 - Renovation of buildings in the countryside - allows scope for models and appropriately scaled extensions, to be introduced. The side of the road is exposed to remote location, which is usually the proposal and it is considered acceptable. Signed: A.
