Re: PA03/00639 – Creation of vehicle turning area with three car parking spaces – land adjacent to 'Stroule', Clayhead Road, Baldrine
Further to my correspondence of 4 August 2003.
The plan attached to the correspondence suggested an alternative turning circle and car parking layout which could be constructed at less cost to the applicant.

PA03/0639/B – Creation of vehicular turning area with three parking spaces on part of land to the south east of Stroule, Clay Head Road, Baldrine, Lonan
I refer to our letter dated 8 July 2003 deferring the above planning application.
The above mentioned application has been considered by the Network Planning Section and the following observations will be forwarded to the Planning Committee of the Department of Local Government and the Environment as the response of the Director of Highways on behalf of the DOT Highways Client Group.
I can now confirm that the response of the Highways Division of the Department of Transport is: No adverse traffic impacts. NB 1 All construction details shall be constructed in compliance with Manx Roads 2.
NB 2 The applicant must obtain approval from the Operations Section of the Department of Transport before carrying out work within the highway. Telephone 686665.
