For the Creation of Vehicular Turning Area and Car Parking Area.

Grounds for Refusal:
The Board believe that this application is part and parcel inextricably connected to Planning Application Number 03/00640/B for the erection of a Dormer Bungalow. It should have been submitted as such.
This application cannot be considered on it's own, and it must be determined by the outcome of the latter application.
The Board are concerned that the proposed siting of this Car Park, is on land elsewhere than the site of the proposed Bungalow. Indeed, at the location of a previous and unsuccessful application, number . The Board are justified in believing that if permission is granted, as applied for, this will set a precedent that will allow a renewed application at the former site.
The Board are opposed to the Bungalow Development, and as a consequence they are opposed to this parking area.
The reference to Ballanette is irrelevant.
previous plan. The Board is concerned that these proposals conflict with the Applicants previous intentions, and have to ask what has changed.
- The Water Authority have stated quite clearly that the current position regarding provision of water and sewerage services in the Baldrine Area is now at it's limit, and they cannot support any further development. This proposal would greatly add to this problem particularly in the Clay Head area. The Board endorse the Water Authority view.
- The Area in which this proposed property lies has been the subject of several applications and has been refused on a number of issues, one of which is the impact on the ecology and rural nature of Clay Head.
- This application, if approved, will set the precedent for further development.
Yours faithfully P.Hill. Clerk to Lonan Parish Commissioners
