Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 03/00739/A
- The proposed development is located outside the area identified for residential development in the Arbory and East Rushen Local Plan and the proposal would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the adopted plan for the area.
- The proposal would constitute backland development and as such would detract from the level of residential amenity currently enjoyed by occupiers of adjacent dwellings.
- This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
