Planning permission application to replace windows at: The Old Vicarage Church Road Maughold IM7 1AS
The planning request is to replace the existing rotten timber vertical sliding sash windows and 2 sets of timber French windows (also rotten).
We are keen to preserve the property and retain the character whilst also improving energy efficiency and appearance and this has influenced our decision to replace all the openings in uPVC material.
The proposed replacement windows will be white uPVC vertical sliding sash windows across all elevations with the same glazing bars to match the current style, design, colour and opening throughout. We have selected a style which incorporates the traditional horn which is again in keeping with the current timber windows. The replacement French windows also be white uPVC and will again retain the existing style, design, colour and opening method of the existing windows.
Please see the attached images showing examples of the style we have been quoted for from our window fitters.
