If no noise sensitive premises (i.e. residential accommodation) overlooking fan exhaust then there is not likely to be any issue. 2. If windows are closed this would make recommended internal noise limits achievable: BS 8233:1999 Typical sound insulation: {{table:494344}} Fan exhaust noise is likely to be at least 50 dB(A) @ 3m even with silencing. 3. In terms of odour if no sensitive premises no issue, if windows sealed where are mechanical ventilation inlets? If residential can residents change windows? Ian Brooks and I have been down to the site again, and this time have accessed the apartments at the rear of 14 North Quay. The windows from the apartments that would overlook the application site are obscure glazed and are non opening, therefore we don't think the {{table:494345}} concerns we did have with regard to the kitchen flue are going to be that much of an issue. Please could you give me your opinion on this?
