Permission was granted for the installation of a new shop front at 6-8 Michael Street, Peel, a property on the southern side of the street within a Conservation Area. The central planning consideration was whether the proposed shop front would preserve or enhance the character of the Conservation Area. The application was found to be acceptable on that basis.
