Assessment

The application is seeking Registered Building Consent to refurbish the existing toilet within the Market Hall to provide 3 No. Semi Automatic toilets and 1 No. Semi-Automatic toilet, which are to be fully DDA compliant. The Conservation Officer has been consulted and is content with the proposed works, as the toilets have already been altered in the past and anything that remains is not of any significant merit. It is considered that the proposed internal works would not adversely affect the setting or character of the Registered Building and it is recommended that Registered Building Consent be granted.
